    I would have guessed higher than 10%. Part of the downturn is obviously due to the big financial picture, but parts of the picture are also may be due to greater involvement by non-CBA publishers (particularly major authors) as well as the self-published-and-direct-sales options that are growing.

    As a photographer married to a prophetic artist, our lives are about the visual portrayal of God’s Kingdom here now, to evangelize.
    Unfortunately the Christian publishing business has not recognized the importance and power of the visual image and looked more at the costs of using color.
    Our culture is now so involved with the visual image that for the CB publishers to not excel in this area or indeed lead, with the use of visual images for Christ’s Kingdom, inevitably it will keep loosing market share, in books, film and all media.
