    When my 8 yr old grand daughter comes to visit, which is often, I can barely pick up her overnight bag. It’s full of books to read to me! I welcome the Kindle, much lighter.
    And maybe digital reading will compete with mindless cell phone messages going back and forth with young people….and some old timers too!
